<Recipient Address Goes Here>

As I am sure you know, college is expensive, as are simple necessities like food, housing, clothing and transportation. Since I have been attending <school name>, I have worked very hard to meet every financial obligation. For the most part I have succeeded, but now I am seeing trouble ahead.

I desperately want to avoid having this temporary financial difficulty damage my educational plans and keep me from my goals. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to see if we can work together to arrange a solution. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
